I've been tagged, its 1 am on a school night, the survey is long and pointless and I've got more important things to do, like homework....so naturally I'm game for the survey. Lets do this!

1. Do you like Eggnog or Hot Chocolate? I always think I'm going to like eggnog, all those new fancy flavors in the pretty cartons...but after one sip I'm over it. I could drink hot chocolate everyday for the rest of my life and feel fulfilled as a human being. I've been on a one-woman search for "white" hot chocolate but so far the search has proved unsuccessful. I'm willing to pay a hefty reward of, well, compliments and good tidings to anyone that finds some.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just put them under the tree? When I was growing up Santa laid out all our presents in our section of the room, be it part of the couch or chair, everything was neatly arranged with our names on it. Unfortunately, Santa hasn't visited me in years...so in my current case, neither!

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? I like white on the tree, makes it classy. My dad hates white lights, he says it looks like a used car parking lot. House either or, just as long as they are not dangling about, looking like your four year old put up the lights....I hate that.

4. Do you hang mistletoe? Mistletoe? Where!?

5. When do you put up your decorations? I remember how we always put them up on Thanksgiving, mom cooking, Stacy and I dancing and twirling around the house to the Carpenters Christmas (the second half was nutcracker music and we had it all choreographed) Now mom just puts it up in bits and pieces throughout the season and takes em down in the same manner....some leftovers get left up all year round, mom thinks we don't notice that she thinks they fit in with the year-round house decor but this is not the case. In my opinion, when Christmas is over, as in Dec 26th, decorations come down. My roommate last year was quite upset when I stayed true to my word on that.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
I long for the day that my mom will make caramel again....

7. What is your favorite Holiday memory as a child? Once again I'm going to refer to the choreographed routines and elaborate Christmas performances that Stacy and I put on. The Carpenters dance, and if you've ever heard the Ray Conniff Album you'll know a little song called "Santa make her my bride for Christmas". Yep, you guessed it Stacy was the groom, and I was the bride, we loved acting out that ridiculous song. There was one year in California that Stacy wrote a pretty good play that all the neighborhood kids starred in "The Elf that saved Christmas". Stacy was, of course, the elf who played Christmas while I made a cameo appearance as a mute child opening a present....in my stupid Christmas nightgown to boot, Thanks Stace.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? As previously mentioned on Stacy's blog, if I did that anymore, I would unwrap my entire Christmas present inventory. But its fun to watch the kids do it.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? I have a teeny tiny tree in my room this year, no more than eight inches, seriously. Interestingly, there are ornaments small enough to hang on all of its two, three branches. But seriously, that things lucky to see any decorations at all.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? I hate snow with every fiber of my being. If I were a witch, we would never have any. Kinda makes you wonder this year huh?......

12. Can you ice skate? I can glide around with the best of em I suppose. Although, and Stacy can verify this, I'm an Olympic gold medalist in the art of living room carpet skating :)

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? I love when my mom makes me blankets for Christmas, I can never get enough. I have an abundance of blankets on my bed now, year round. Thanks mommy :)

14. What is the most important thing about the Holidays for you? The fam, gotta love em.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Did you not read about the caramel? That's all I want, ever. And white hot chocolate...I know you're out there! (I know what you're thinking, vanilla is NOT the same)

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Sometimes we go to Disneyland, I didn't get to go last year because, blast! I was stuck in Hawaii :)

17. What tops your tree? I think stars are best

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
I love buying for all my sister's little brats, just kidding.....

19. What is your favorite Christmas song? Well.....considering Christmas carols start for me around August...I'm kinda over them by the time the actual season rolls around. But I enjoy the Home Alone Album, Carpenters, Ray Conniff Singers, and of course Amy Grant....not "Grown up Christmas List" I hate that song...as well as Christmas shoes, get out of here!

20. Candy Canes? Eh

21. Do you feel Christmas is too commercialized? Sometimes but whatevs...can you tell I'm over this survey?

22. Favorite Christmas movie? Elf, Home Alone, some more that I cant think of right now.....

Im tagging Brandy, Kyla, and Stacey. But I doubt anyone even bothers with my blog anymore!

So this doesn't ease the pain of there being no white hot chocolate but have you tried the amaretto hot chocolate? It is seriously heaven in a cup!! Maybe you should email Stephen's Hot Chocolate and tell them that white chocolate should be the next flavor : )

I knew there was a reason we are friends! I feel the exact same way you do about egg nog and hot chocolate!
white choco sounds incredible.

If your mom makes caramels, I'm coming down. And eating them all!

So, also you need an update on your christmas music you listen to. Check out: http://music.aol.com/holiday-and-christmas-cds

I love a lot of these cds!

Why do you delight to humiliate me? Good thing nobody reads your blog because you never update it. The first offense would be using that pregnant picture of me where I appear to be nearly the size of that oversized ornament.
And worst of all is your recollection of all of our childhood entertainment where it would be perfectly normal for a five or six year old to do these things...but that would have made me like ten and way too old to be flouncing about our living room to The Nutcracker!
